About

Quinn Robertson is a photographer & videographer, currently living in Huntington, West Virginia. As a recent graduate from Marshall University (2022 alumnus), this portfolio is collection of works that showcases their abilities as a student of visual story telling. The range of the selected works stretches from basic portrait photography, studies of motion and movement, to comedic short films, studies of nature, conceptual video art exploring concepts akin to documentation, and "life after death".

Based around the idea of the in between, I chose to recreate a stair climb sequence, displaying the in between moments of the ascension.

Light Study

A quick, mundane light study that explored the use of a three point setup in a lighting studio.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficient use of professional editing & and design software such as the full Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, and more.

• Competent working with cameras including Nikon, Canon, Sony, Black Magic, and analog film cameras.

• Proficient in using audio gear such as field recorders, field mixers, a wide array of studio microphones, and audio mixers.
